Women’s Advocacy Organisation, SWS Loses Chairperson In Kogi State

Standup for Women’s Society (SWS) has announced the passage to the bossom of the Lord, its Kogi State Chairperson, Queen Shuaibu Toba who died recently.

A statement released by the National Public Relations Officer of the SWS, Billie Nwogu, said Barrister Deborah. A. Ijadele-Adetona, the President of the organisation described the sudden death of Queen Toba as so painful to the women’s advocacy organisation, adding that Queen Toba did excellently well while in charge of the Kogi stat chapter of the SWS.

“On behalf of the Liberators of the Standup for Women Society (SWS), I, the National President Barrister Deborah. A. Ijadele-Adetona of Standup for women society (SWS) expresses shock over the death of the chairperson of the SWS Kogi Chapter.

“I offer our deepest condolences on the sudden passing of our Kogi State Chapter Chairperson, Queen Shuaibu Toba,” the President said.

The president said Queen Toba’s steadfastly steered the affairs of the SWS within the short period she lived and had lived positive marks in the association which cannot be erased in a hurry because she led with wisdom and foresight.

“She bounded faster with people easily. meeting people of different backgrounds, she was able to build ever-stronger relationships with them at the state and national levels.

“We will deeply miss your immeasurable contributions to the growth of the SWS, especially in Kogi State.

“We honour your legacy (Queen) and mourn your loss.”

Barrister Adetona said Queen Toba’s death was a blow to the entire association, adding that she was a vibrant leader who did her best to bring all members together within the short period she piloted the  affairs of the chapter.

She, however, prays to God to comfort the husband, children and the entire family she left behind.

“We love you but God loves you most. May Queen Toba’s soul Rest in perfect peace.

Queen Toba was a journalist, one time Kogi State NAWOJ Chairperson.
