Lagos State Govt Debunks Allegation On Sale Of Campaign Stickers

Posted on September 22, 2022

The Lagos State Government has debunked the claims contained in a viral video on social media alleging its participation in forcing the motoring public to purchase stickers to raise funds for the campaign of some All Progressive Congress candidates.
A statement issued by the Honourable Commissioner for Transportation, Dr. Frederic Oladeinde, condemned the claim in strong terms, stating that the stickers were neither created nor circulated by the Ministry or any agency of the Government.
He urged stakeholders, especially those providing public transportation, to report anyone caught selling the stickers in the name of the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation, advising those involved in the mischief to refrain or face the wrath of the Law.
