Oyo Education Commissioner Enjoins Youths On Setting Priorities Right

Oyo State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Barrister Rahman Abiodun Abdu-Raheem, today charged Nigerian youth to set their priority right at all times and in all places.

Barrister Raheem, gave this admonishment at the Valedictory Service and Prize Giving ceremony, organized for the 2022 outgoing Students of Wesley College of Science, Elekuro Ibadan

He described the present attainments of the graduating students as a significant transition of future leaders into another stage of life.

The Honourable Commissioner charged the graduating students, to be at their best at all times, and value themselves, but to dissociate from unholy acts and immorality.

While expressing his utmost delight at the good performances exhibited by the students of the school, in the recently released external examinations, advised them not to allow excuses and fear to rob them of life achievement, hearts desires and dreams.

He enjoined all stakeholders to team up with the present administration ably led by His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde (FNSE) at achieving the desired goal of a qualitative education in the areas of Science, Mathematics and Vocational Education.

Barrister Raheem affirmed the present government will keep keep giving priority to the procurement of science equipment, and materials, school furniture, textbooks, infrastructural development and renovation of schools in Oyo State.

He eulogised the school authority, members of staff students and parents for maintaining good academic standard, in which the school was noted for.
