The lawmaker representing Ikeja Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon Adedamola Richard Kasunmu, ARK, has empathised with stampede victims of yesterday’s rally.
In his message to his Distinguished Constituents on Sunday, Hon Kasunmu said, “This is to sincerely symphatise with all our party members and Constituents who sustained various injuries at the scene of yesterday’s stampede”.
“We thank God for His divine mercies and for not allowing fatality in our Constituency.”
“We pray not to witness such unfortunate incident again in our party, constituency, state and nation.”
“I want to seize this opportunity to thank all our party leaders  and members as well as Emergency responders and security agencies at the scene of the incident for rising up to the occasion by assisting the victims with spontaneous  caregiving and also rushing many to hospitals.”
“As we journey towards a greater nation and better society, the enemies of progressive democracy and good governance in our state and nation will never prevail.”
“Once again, my sympathy goes to all our affected Constituents and I wish them speedy recovery. I have personally reached out to some earlier today.
Your enthusiasm, support and zeal for our beloved party shall never be without bountiful rewards.
Thank you all” Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu concluded.
