Man, 75, In Police Net Over S*x With 4-Year Old Niece

A 75-year old man, Isa Nana Okpoku, has landed in trouble after he allegedly lured his 4-year old niece and engaged her in sex.
The incident happened in Daddare Development Area, Obi Local Government Area, Nasarawa State, where they reside.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect, Okpoku, has been arrested and detained by the Police operatives from Nassarawa State Command and undergoing interrogation over his conduct.
This was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel, who confirmed that the suspect was in custody.
He explained that the suspect was arrested following a complaint lodged at the Divisional Police Headquarters on Saturday, at about 08:00am over the conduct on the innocent victim.
“Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect and his niece were both residents in the same house thus, he lured the victim into his room, willfully had unlawful carnal knowledge of her and injured her in the process.”
“The victim was however, rushed to the hospital for medical examination where the doctor confirmed that the hymen was broken,” DSP Nansel said.
He further stated that the Commissioner of Police, CP Maiyaki Baba, has ordered a comprehensive investigation into the offence. Upon conclusion of investigation, the suspect will be charged to a Court of competent jurisdiction for prosecution.
The suspect, Okpoku risks several years of imprisonment or life imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty before the Court for defilement under the Criminal Law of Nasarawa State but that will be after the conclusion of investigation by the Police.
