Ekwunife Attends Official Dedication Of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church At Nimo
The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senatorial Candidate for the zone, Uche Ekwunife, PhD, was at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Parish, Nimo, for the official dedication of the church.
Welcoming the Senator, Rev. Fr. Obinna Dike extolled Ekwunife for her passion for God and noted that the Federal Lawmaker has always attended church functions, an attitude rare among leaders in Nigeria.
Speaking further, the cleric commended Ekwunife for her humanitarian services and objective support towards the Church and development of the society.
While praying for the Lawmaker’s victory in the forthcoming elections, the Priest added that this is time to support people who have capacity to attract development and pointed Ekwunife as a top brass leader, who has impacted positively to the society and deserves their support.
Speaking at the event, Ekwunife lauded the parishioners for their efforts in building a place of worship to the Lord. She added that God always blesses anyone who works in his vineyard and described the good people of Nimo as wonderful and God fearing people.
The Chairman Senate Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation appealed to the parish to support candidates who have worked for them and have antecedents to attract dividends of democracy. She added that the community will continue to witness impactful representation and urged them not to be deceived by those who have had different levels of opportunities at the National Assembly without meaningful development.
The Church was dedicated to God by the Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor.
