An Abuja based businessman, Mr Cyriacus Obiakor popularly known as Zuby has reportedly concluded plans to use the Nigerian Police to claim some parcels of land belonging to another family in his Ibughubu village in Umuchu town in Anambra State.

This was the outcome of the failed peace move initiated by Obiakor who pleaded with the PPA governorship candidate, Chief Godwin Ezeemo to intervene in the matter as the youths reportedly mobilised against him.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that during the peace meeting Obiakor was said to have informed Ezeemo that he should suspend the peace talk because he had initiated the move at Abuja with the police force headquarters over the matter and would prefer to use the police to achieve his mission.

The peace meeting was said to have ended abruptly and Obiakor had boasted that he will use the police to accomplish his desire to take the land.
People were still surprised how Obiakor had managed to convince the police through the petition he reportedly wrote to the Inspector General of Police to dabble into the land matter. But sources said he lied to the police that his life was under threat whereas it was a land matter.

P.M.EXPRESS had reported what could be described as the rich suppressing the poor which played out at Umudim kindred in Ibughubu village in Umuchu town,  Aguata Local Government in Anambra State.
Obiakor had arranged with the police from Abuja headquarters and came to the village to arrest family members of Humphrey Njirika to take over their land.
However, the initial plan failed after the people present informed the police team that Obiakor was a notorious land grabber in the community and the police immediately re-adjusted and moved into investigation but did not arrest the suspects he petitioned against rather invited them.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that this happened after Obiakor reportedly went behind and  procured a land judgments from his Umudim kindred on the same land  already decided by the entire community in favour of Njirika.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that when the matter was resolved between Njirika and his brother Festus Ekekwe, Obiakor was the chairman who decided the matter.
It was also gathered that Obiakor decided last year to take the land 14 years after he presided and decided the matter when Njirika had health challenge and one of his legs was amputated.
It was also gathered that he claimed that his forefathers did a sacrifice on the land therefore, the land belong to them, used his influence and caused to set up a kangaroo committee within Umudim kindred who awarded the land to him making two judgments on the same land.

Angry youths in the community attempted to mobilise against him and he ran to Ezeemo to intervene which Ezeemo tried but Obiakor changed his mind and informed Ezeemo that he had decided to use police to achieve the land grabbing attempt.
