The traditional ruler of Ejigbo kingdom, Oba Moruf Ojoola has moved out from his palace and joined the police to fish out criminals that have been terrorising the residents.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that this followed the incessant attacks by suspected cultists and robbers who had terrorised the residents recently. The attacks have prompted most of the residents to move from the area with their properties and families as many of them have been attacked, sustained injuries and have lost valuables worth millions of naira.

Business activities have also crumbled as many shops were under lock and key, people were leaving the area daily and there was tension every night.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that Oba Ojoola expressed concern over the development, saying that if things continued like that he may not have much people in his kingdom as subjects.

On Tuesday 29th of August, 2017,  His Majesty Oba Ojoola moved out with his cabinet members to the notorious areas such as  Agbole, Coker,  Edogboja Streets, NNPC Road and other streets in the area with public address system and publicly warned criminals and  those causing trouble in the area to leave or he will fish them out by himself and hand them to the police.

P.M.EXPRESS had reported that Ejigbo residents had never known peace following the release of a notorious cult leader and suspected armed robber popularly known as Arsenal by a top politician in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that since the announcement made by Oba Ojoola and his cabinet, that peace has returned to the area as some people slept in their houses while others were planning to return.
This was confirmed by the Lagos Commissioner of Police, Mr Fatai Owoseni who said the police have been working and having meetings with the stakeholders to restore peace. It might be one of such peace moves that made the royal father to join the police in trying to restore peace.
