Odunmbaku Honoured By Development Organisations As He Attends WaterAid Project Event

The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku, yesterday attended the ‘End Of Project Meeting’ for the Sanitation And Hygiene Improvement Project (SHIP) in Lagos State facilitated by Kimberly Clark and WaterAid Nigeria.

Ojodu LCDA had collaborated with WaterAid and its development partner, Kimberly Clark, to provide Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Improvement projects, which were sited in schools, markets and health centers to increase access to safe inclusive and sustainable WASH services for its residents.

Hon Segun Odunmbaku, in his goodwill message, appreciated WaterAid and Kimberly Clark, and promised the projects sustainability, which is in line with the H.E.Y.S development agenda of his administration while also stating his commitment to more of such collaborations with the private sector and development partners

for socioeconomic development of Ojodu LCDA.

Highlight of the event was the presentation of an award certificate to the Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon Segun Odunmbaku, for his outstanding commitment and support towards the project, which was a testament of his accessibility and rapidity towards partnership for development.

Mrs. Ganiyat Bello, (HOD Education, Ojodu LCDA) praised Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, for his exceptional support and stated resolutions for project sustainability while Community Leader and Resource Person, Mrs. Aliu said the project has already improved behavioral patterns towards environmental sanitation with positive outcomes in markets and motor parks around Ojodu LCDA.
