Disc jockey, Popoola Gavaar Olatunbosun, popularly known as DJ Gavpop, has revealed the move behind his ‘After Party Affairs’.

The spin master, a recipient of the popular Nigerian Entertainment Awards in the United States, launched the ‘After Party Affairs’ recently and disclosed that it’s a new innovation, a post-event targeted at extending fun and merry making.

Speaking at an event in Ibadan, Oyo State recently, Gavpop said “we all hope to leave a legacy and make a positive impact in what we do. Our job is to make people happy, I’m glad to be called a pioneer of anything positive.”

Speaking further, he noted that ‘The After Party Affairs’ became necessary when he discovered people had nowhere to go after the events.

“These are people that travel from far and wide, and they usually call to ask if there are any after-party plans. So, what we do is to import some costumes, set up the lights and music, stretch the hours for people to dance and be happy,” he said..

Describing himself as a blessing to the Nigerian entertainment industry, DJ Gavpop said he has pioneered many events like the ‘Jeans n Bandana party,’
