FIRS Boss, Zacch Adedeji Meets Nigeria’s Prominent Corporate Taxpayers

The Acting Executive Chairman of Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, Mr. Zacch A. Adedeji Wednesday met with prominent and corporate taxpayers in Nigeria.
Notable attendees include top executives of Nigerian Breweries Plc, Dangote Group, NNPC Limited, Guinness Nigeria Ltd, ExxonMobil, NLNG, MTN, Nestle Plc, Bet9ja among others.
The Ag. FIRS boss commends their commitment to upholding high tax compliance standards and responsible corporate citizenship, which sets them apart as one of the top taxpayers in Nigeria.
Some Coordinating Directors, State Coordinators, State Monitors, Heads of Functions of the FIRS are present as well.
“We will not collect what is not due to us, and also we would not allow anyone deprive us of what is due to us,” Adedeji told the boardroom chiefs.
He reiterated what he said at the Nigeria-U.S Executive Business Roundtable that under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the FIRS will be focusing only on the proportionate taxation of the fruit of fully formed industry.
