2 Rival Ladies Fight Publicly Inside Church

Two ladies, Chioma Akachukwu and her rival, Grace Ofili, got engaged in a public fight inside the church and in the process, Chioma inflicted injury on Grace and consequently threw her property outside over an undisclosed matter in Lagos State. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened on 1st October, 2023, at Baptist Church in Oke Afa area of Ejigbo, Lagos.
During the said public fight, Chioma was said to have rained fist blows on Grace, destroyed her property and threw them outside the church.
The matter was reported to the Police at Ejigbo Division; Chioma was arrested and detained at the station for assaulting Grace and destroying her property worth an undisclosed amount.
After thoroughly interrogating her, the Police found Chioma culpable and consequently charged her before the Ejigbo Magistrate Court for the alleged assault.
However, she pleaded not guilty when she was arraigned.
The prosecutor, Inspector Simeon Njue, then asked the Court to give a date for hearing since Chioma pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that she actually committed the alleged offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. A.K.. Dosumu-Uthan, granted her bail with surety, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and tax payment.
The matter was adjourned till 7th November, 2023, for mention while the defendant was remanded in custody at the Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when she will perfect her bail conditions.
