Pastor, 43, Arrested For Defiling Girl 16 & Infesting Her With Disease 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Giwa Agbado area of Ogun State, where the victim’s parents reside with Pastor John, while the matter was reported at the Agbado Divisional Police Station.

The 43-year old Pastor John had repeatedly defiled the victim and warned her not to tell anyone about it or he would kill her. And so, she kept the trauma to herself since 2022.

However,  the victim’s parents had repeatedly treated her for recurring infections and she had exhibited frightful behaviour, which made her parents to be suspicious that she may have been involved in sexual intercourse but concealing the identity of the person.

They persuaded their daughter who later confessed that Pastor John has repeatedly been having unlawful carnal knowledge of her since November 2022 and threatened to kill her if she ever revealed the alleged dastardly act to anyone.

Thus, the matter was reported to the Police and he was arrested and detained at the police station.

During interrogation, the suspect confessed to the crime and admitted to have had unlawful carnal knowledge of the victim for several months before he was arrested.

The victim has been issued medical forms for treatment and examination for medical report while Pastor Clinton Oscar John has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Eleweran, for discreet investigation.

According to Police sources, he will be charged before the Court for the alleged defilement under the Criminal law of the State, which attracts several years of imprisonment but that will be after the conclusions of investigation by the Police.
