Ramadan: Senator Adeola Yayi Begins Distribution Of Gifts To Muslims

The Distinguished lawmaker representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Solomon Adeola, has commenced the distribution of Ramadan gifts for Muslim faithful as the fasting period enters its eight day in the month-long religious exercise.

The distribution of such gifts at festive and unique periods is a tradition that the Senator has kept over the years as a legislator as part of his representative functions and in fulfilment of religious doctrines of sharing and giving.

The Ramadan package for Muslims that will be distributed to various Muslim organizations and mosques for their members as well as individuals in the next one week includes 20,000 bags of rice, hampers, cash grants and various quantities of provisions for breaking fast like sugar,beverages and other items.

Senator Adeola had earlier felicitated with Muslims at the commencement of fasting 8 days ago while calling on them for prayers for the nation and the leadership as part of the fasting exercise.
