A Heap Of Colonial Bend-Ups

Posted on March 27, 2024
Africans have been removed from the respectful commentary of history through colonial domination, exploitation of our cultures, mineral resources and their manipulation of our thought patterns. Our minds are programmed by colonialists to believe that we can’t do certain things like the people of other races. The truth remains that, every knowledge in the world is accessible, exploitable and practicable by everyone in the world. The capacity to do all things is not proportional to geographical location, religious affiliation nor the colour of a man’s skin. It is deeply engraved and rooted in one’s desire and determination with vehement hunger to perform an individual task.
Creativity is not subjected to one’s colour of skin nor geographical location. The product of one’s view point, coupled with earnest inquisitiveness and rugged determination culminates into pathfinding culture that equals creativity. Creativity is the true nature of the mind when adequately put to use. When you make your mind sweat, it will stretch to build-up wealth for you. The mind is the power house of the man. Success and failure are products of the mind. They are incubated in the mind womb and birthed through actions or inactions.
Innoson Vehicles is not run by a Japanese, neither is it run by a person or organization outside the black race. It is determination coupled with practicable approach of inquisitive studies by a black African man that birthed the realization of Innoson Vehicles. If you can operate an ant inquisitively and carefully enough, you will discover the heart. This is one of the secrets of Japanese, Chinese and many other technological giants in the world. They would curiously dismantle what they bought from others in order to discover the technological secrets to it and construct theirs in a different design.
The ground breaking results of Dr. Alex Otti in governance as seen in Abia State, Nigeria, is not fueled by any other person outside the black race, but by collective brains of the people within the Nigerian borders. Dr. Otti has proven beyond reasonable doubt that Africans can govern themselves and govern it well against every opposition. A positive feat in governance in most African regions has been suppressed for so long by the thievery and short sighted nature of most African leaders.
Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, concerning her first novel averred, ” Shortly after my first novel was published, an American professor told me that my novel was not authentically African. ……………. The professor told me that my characters were middle-class, they drove cars, they were not starving, therefore, they were not the real Africa” The trivializing posture of the American professor portrays Western manipulative struggles to perpetually keep Africans in the dusty region of anthropological library.
The news of a former President of Spain, Rodriguez Zapatero’s visit to Nigerian capital city, Abuja in 2009, on the 22nd of June, was aired on Spanish national television. In order not to show the beauty of Abuja city to the world, which will jeopardize the horrible pictures they are portraying about Africa, they had to focus their video on the root of a tree throughout the news on their National Television. I was not told of this scenario for I watched the news in my house in Barcelona.
Christopher Columbus, in 1492, got lost in the Sea on his way to Indian but later found himself in North America, in full scale bewilderment, he called the Indigenous people of North American the red Indians as he erroneously thought that he was in Indian. Their errors are always bend-up to be a trending fashion. So also, are their mental slave chain religions and their callous occupation of other people’s land, baptized and whitewashed the civilization of a People living in distant lands.
Now that a heap of Western bend-ups are being straightened out by African psychological warriors through decolonization of the mind campaign, the hunting tools of the hunters will soon be rendered impotent.
