Soludo Revives Otuocha Regional Water Scheme

Posted on April 1, 2024

Governor Soludo is not just building solid, durable, and never-seen-before roads in Anambra State. He is touching every sector without borrowing.

The once-dead Otuocha Regional Water Scheme, intended for the supply of water to Aguleri, Umueri, Umuoba Anam, and other communities in Anambra East, has been successfully revived.

The scheme boasts of a treatment plant that can treat over 10 million liters of water daily while a distribution reservoir of 400 cubic meters (100,000 gallons in size) has been installed. The pipeline network, with a total length of 5km, has already been completed, while the reticulations will cover another 20 km with over 50 fetching points.

The scheme’s pontoon floating barge intake is equipped with abstraction pumps that have been mounted inside the river, thereby making it a comprehensive water supply solution for the region.

Truly, the Solution is Here!!!
