Man, 50, Arrested With Human Head Exhumed From Cemetery For Ritual Purposes

A 50-year old man, Adebanjo Segun, has landed in trouble in Ogun State after he went to a cemetery, exhumed decomposed  human head, which he intended to use for ritual purposes.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Police operatives from the Ogun State Command have arrested Segun and detained him where he is undergoing interrogation over his alleged conduct.
According to the Police, Segun exhumed the corpse from the cemetery belonging to the Christian Association of Nigeria at Ago Omu Ijebu area of Ogun State. And while he was escaping, he was apprehended by the security agencies while the corpse was recovered as exhibit.
This was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Command,  SP Omolola Odutola, who disclosed that the suspect was in custody undergoing interrogation over his alleged conduct.
The image maker also confirmed that the suspect was arrested with an exhibit, a severed the decomposing head from a corpse he exhumed.
“He was apprehended by operatives of the Ogun State Police Command and those of So Safe, the Ogun State Government security outfit”
“The suspect, who confessed to the crime, will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department of the Ogun State Police command for further investigation.”
The spokesperson of the Command, Odutola, said she would provide more details and the suspect will be charged before the Court for the alleged criminal offence but that will be after the conclusion of investigations by the Police.
