YCA USA Celebrates Awujale At 90

The Yoruba Cultural Alliance (YCA) in the United States has congratulated Ijebuland’s Awujale, Oba Sikiru Adetona Ogbagba II, on his 90th birthday anniversary.

 

The President of YCA USA, Abiodun Akinfenwa, described Awujale as a monarch, who has made noble contributions to the Yoruba heritage and nation-building in various capacities. He equally highlighted the outstanding and selfless leadership qualities of the paramount ruler.

 

According to the YCA President, “On behalf of the Yoruba Cultural Alliance, USA, I congratulate the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona Ogbagba II, on the occasion of his 90th birthday anniversary”.

 

“Your dedication to the welfare of your subjects and our country and its people is highly appreciated. May you continue to lead a long and healthy life,” Akinfenwa added.

 

He called on politicians across the country to emulate the remarkable legacy of the monarch while describing Oba Adetona as a rare gem, a statesman, and a philanthropist par excellence.

 

The YCA USA prayed for a longer life for the Awujale, strength in the humanity service, and good health to reach all his goals.
