Senator Abiru Mourns Mr. Gboyega Soyannwo, Sanwo-Olu’s Deputy Chief Of Staff

The Senator representing Lagos East Senaorial District, Distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA, has mourned the passing of Mr Gboyega Soyannwo, the deputy Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

The lawmaker, in a statement issued by his media aide, Mr. Enitan Olukotun, in Lagos on Thursday described the death of Mr. Soyannwo as shocking and a huge loss to his family, friends and the Lagos State Government.

In his words, Senator Abiru said, “Late Gboyega Soyannwo was my friend, brother and a junior colleague in banking”.

He extolled his contributions to the development of Lagos State, particularly the pivotal role he played in the administration of Governor Sanwo-Olu.
The Senator prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased, adding that Almighty God should give the family, children and loved ones, the fortitude to bear the irreperrable loss.
