Hon. Segun Odunmbaku Honoured As “LG Chairman Of The Year”

Following unprecedented achievements with the H.E.Y.S Agenda of his administration, Hon Segun Odunmbaku, the Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, has been declared as the “Local Government Chairman of the Year”.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the awards ceremony, which was the 20th Edition of the Excellence Recognition Awards, was hosted by Global Excellence Magazine on Sunday 19th May, 2024, at Etal Hotels & Halls, Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregun, Lagos.
According to Mayor Akinpelu, the CEO of Global Excellence Communications Limited, the organizers of the event, the awards were presented to deserving winners in celebration of their outstanding feats in different fields of endeavour.
The Ojodu Mayor, Odunmbaku, who was ably represented by the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Olaide John Bello, expressed his appreciation to Global Excellence Magazine for finding him worthy of the recognition and honour.
Odunmbaku also used the opportunity the awards ceremony afforded to appreciate the members of the Executive Council, the Legislative House led by Hon. Opeyemi Apatira, the Council staff and his teeming constituents for their support towards the development of Ojodu LCDA.
He further assured that the award will spur him to do more for the welfare of the Ojodu people and ensure delivery of the dividends of democracy in line with the T.H.E.M.E.S agenda of the Lagos State Government.
The well attended awards ceremony, which had Gbenga Adeyinka De 1st as the compere, drew dignitaries and captains of industry from far and wide. The event equally featured compelling performances from different artistes, who ensured it was a grand evening for dignitaries, awardees and guests present.
