Soludo Receives Award As Champion Newspaper 2023 Governor of The Year On Infrastructure and Rural Development

At a well attended event chaired by the former Military Governor of Lagos State and current DG of the Nigeria Drug and Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Brig. General Buba Marwa (Rtd), at the exquisite Eko Hotel and Suite in Lagos, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR, received the prestigious Champion Newspaper 2023 Governor of the Year award on Infrastructure and Rural Development.

In presenting the award to Gov. Soludo, who was ably represented by his Deputy, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, the former Governor of Cross River State, Mr. Donald Duke stated clearly that “the history of our country Nigeria in modern time cannot be complete without sufficient mention of Prof. Soludo”.

He further lauded the Governor’s effort in governance, especially in the area of infrastructure and rural development, stating that Governor Soludo is known across the country for his excellent administrative and leadership qualities.

Receiving the award on behalf of Gov. Soludo, Dr Ibezim thanked the Organizers of the event for bestowing the honour on his Principal.

In his words, “This award is a push to do more for the people and an indication that Anambra State under Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR is on the right track. We will continue to do more for the people we have been called to serve”.

He dedicated the Award to ndi Anambra and members of the Solution Team.

Some of the dignitaries, who graced the event included the Deputy Governor of Borno State, traditional Rulers, Business executives, Bank MDs/CEO and captains of industry.
