Keyamo Demands Respect & Improved Services From Turkish Airlines In Nigeria

Posted on May 30, 2024
Earlier yesterday, May 29, 2024, the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, SAN, met with the management team of Turkish Airlines to intervene in the impasse between the airline and the aviation union.
During the meeting, the Honourable Minister, not mincing words, demanded that Turkish Airlines show greater respect to Nigerian passengers and significantly improve their communication, which is currently deemed poor.
The Minister assured that there would be no more disruptions to the airline’s operations, provided they respect the unions. Furthermore, the Minister admonished Turkish Airlines to deploy better aircraft models for their Nigerian routes and to start using local caterers offering Nigerian delicacies.
The Turkish Airlines Management team was led by the airline’s Vice President in charge of Africa, Hilemet Mesut Turks even.
