Hon Segun Odunmbaku Extends Eid Adha Mubarak Greetings To Residents
In a heartfelt gesture, the Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, has extended warm greetings and heartfelt congratulations to all residents of Ojodu LCDA on the occasion of Eid Adha.
As Muslims around the world gather to celebrate this significant festival, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku shared a message of peace, prosperity, and joy with the residents of Ojodu LCDA. Eid Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, holds deep significance in the Islamic faith. It commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah’s’s command, symbolizing unwavering faith, devotion, and the spirit of giving.
The Council Chairman emphasized the importance of these values in his message to the community.
“As we celebrate Eid Adha, let us remember the importance of community, support for one another, and the blessings of sharing,” Hon. Segun Odunmbaku said.
“This is a time to reach out to those in need, to extend our hands in generosity and to strengthen the bonds that hold us together as a community.”
In light of the ongoing health concerns regarding cholera outbreak, Hon. Odunmbaku also highlighted the importance of observing health and safety guidelines during the festivities. He urged residents to remain vigilant and to celebrate responsibly.
“While we celebrate, we must not forget the need to stay safe and protect our loved ones,” he stated.
“I urge everyone to follow health protocols and ensure that our celebrations are not only joyous but also safe for all.”
