Ojodu Mayor, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku Delivers Inspirational Spech At Enterprise Skills Development Training

The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon Segun Odunmbaku, graced the Enterprise Skills Development Training organized by the Office of the APC National Youth Leader with his esteemed presence and delivered an inspiring keynote speech.
In his address, Hon. Odunmbaku praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje and National Youth Leader, Hon. Dayo Israel, for their significant contributions to the development of both the country and the party. He emphasized the critical role that entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) play as the backbone of the economy.
The Chairman highlighted the proactive measures his administration has taken through its H.E.Y.S Development Agenda to empower youths, including providing certified training programmes in various high-demand fields such as industrial automation and processing engineering, HVAC systems, advanced solar technology and ICT training in data analytics and coding.
Addressing the young participants, Hon. Odunmbaku stated, “Your unique selling proposition is your skill acquisition”.
He further underscored the global demand for specialized professionals like crane operators and offshore welders, urging the participants to leveragei theiruu skills for success.
Additionally, he advised the participants on the importance of proper documentation and certification for SMEs, emphasizing the value of building a sustainable brand.
“A strong brand and official certifications not only enhance credibility but also open doors to greater opportunities,” he added.
The event featured other notable speakers including Life Coaches, Dr. Ayobami Olugbenga Whyte and Olufunke Ige, Joyce Awosika (Founder/MD of Oriki Group) and Haresh Keswani of Artee Group. They engaged the audience with discussions on various topics such as public speaking and effective communication, business processing, structure and networking.
