Maiden 5-Aside Football Competition Set To Hold In Memory Of Yeye Kemi Nelson

In commemoration of the 2nd year anniversary of the demise of Chief (Mrs.) Kemi Nelson, the Secretary to Ikeja Local Government (LGA), Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), held a prayer session for the repose of the soul of the late leader and matriarch, which followed by a World Press Conference, where the Maiden Edition of Yeye Kemi Nelson 5-Aside Football Competition was announced. 
Comrade Akeem Dauda eulogized and described Yeye Kemi Nelson as a unique leader, loving mother as well as a passionate politician never to be forgotten. He recalled the caring and compassionate character of Yeye Kemi Nelson, who was always ready to go extra length to impact on everyone who came across her.
In memory of the late Matriarch, Comrade Dauda announced the maiden edition of the Yeye Kemi Nelson 5-Aside Football Competition scheduled to commence from Wednesday, 24th July, 2024, at the Ikeja Sports Centre (Oluwaleyimu, Ikeja).
Comrade Dauda, who is the Chairman, Scribe 57, Lagos State, implored Ikeja Youths to troop out in their numbers to participate in the football competition as a mark of honour and respect to the late political leader and Amazon, who gave her all to the people during her lifetime.
The football competition will parade 12 teams, out of which the winning team will receive a trophy and cash prize of N100,000.00. The first runner up team will get a cash reward of N50,000.00, while the third place team will get a cash prize of N25,000.00.
