The Faceless Sponsors Of Anarchy In Nigeria

As Nigeria stands on the brink of proposed protests set to erupt on August 1st, 2024, a chilling question echoes across the nation – who are the hidden hands orchestrating this uprising? Can anyone confidently name or point to the sponsors of these planned demonstrations? Who is financing the printing of flyers and the production of protest videos? The anonymity surrounding these protests raises serious concerns about the motives behind them.

The shadowy sponsors of these protests are challenged to step out of the shadows. If they genuinely believe in their cause, they should come forward and declare their intentions publicly. But they remain in hiding, shrouded in mystery, precisely because their intentions are dubious and malevolent. They cannot reveal themselves because their agenda is rooted in deceit and malice.

In a recent interview on Channels TV, journalist Seun Okinbaloye questioned the esteemed Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana, about whether he would participate in the protest. Falana, a respected voice in Nigerian civil rights, firmly responded in the negative. His reason? He does not know who the sponsors are and refuses to join a clandestine and potentially cultic protest whose backers are unknown. Similarly, Prof. Pat Utomi shared his concerns on Arise TV, echoing the need for transparency and accountability.

These are precisely the kinds of questions every Nigerian should ask before joining any protest. Before embarking on a march that could lead to chaos and destruction, it is crucial to inquire who the leaders are. Who are the sponsors?

A protest of this magnitude is being proposed and bankrolled with massive funding, yet no individual or group has come forward to take ownership. This is deeply worrying, and our security forces must remain vigilant and on high alert. We have witnessed terrorists, shady foreign interest groups, and illicit drug cartels – often aided by disgruntled politicians – using clandestine methods to force regime change in various countries. Nigerians must be cautious and avoid igniting a firestorm that could lead to the collapse of law and order merely to satisfy politicians who failed at the polls. This is a dangerous game of “if I can’t have it, nobody should,” threatening to drag the entire nation down.

This is a clarion call to our youth and leaders not to be lured by the bait of unknown destroyers. We are only just recovering from the treacherous activities of unknown gunmen in some regions of the country. Let us not march unquestioningly into a similar disaster.

As August approaches, let us be wise and discerning about the true intentions behind these protests. The presence of unknown sponsors can only mean one thing – dark and evil intentions.

As I challenge the cowards behind these protests to reveal themselves, I implore all young and old Nigerians to resist the temptation to sow anarchy. Our nation’s stability depends on it.

Together, let us protect Nigeria from those who seek to destroy it from the shadows.
