Ojodu LCDA Trains 30 Women On Jewelry Making

Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, under the leadership of Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, held a one day training for young women in jewelry-making.

The programme was facilitated by Hon. Folake Olubunmi Adams, Supervisor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation. The programme is in line with the H.E.Y.S Agenda of Hon Segun Odunmbaku’s administration administration focusing on self-reliance and entrepreneurship.

The comprehensive training, led by Mrs. Favourite Obidigie, covered beadwork, wirework, metalwork and gemstone setting alongside business management and marketing strategies.

Supervisor For Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA), Hon. Folake Olubunmi Adams, emphasized the administration’s commitment to empowering women, while APC Women Leader Of Ojodu LCDA, Alhaja Bukky Badmus, was also present at the event with all the women leaders of each ward under Ojodu LCDA.

 

Participants expressed gratitude for the opportunity, which promises to uplift their financial situations and contribute to socioeconomic development in Ojodu LCDA.
