The price of adultery can fatal when one considers what happened recently in Lagos State between a married man, Chijioke Reuben and his secret married lover, Mrs. Cynthia Sunday, at Alaba International Market, Ojo area of the State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Mrs. Cynthia Sunday sent Mr. Reuben’s nude video to his wife to watch in order to know that her husband is an adulterer. Reuben arrested Cynthia and exposed her adulterous lifestyle to her husband and their marriages were said to be in jeopardy.
Trouble started after Reuben started engaging Cynthia, who is married with children, in sex to the extent that Cynthia informed him that she was pregnant for him. At that point, he blocked her from reaching him on phone.
Meanwhile, Reuben did not know that all the while they were going to hotels to have sex, Cynthia was recording his nakedness and keeping on her phone, which she was said to have used to blackmail him to oobtain the sum of N2m.
When he was unable to reach him, he sent the nude video to Reuben’s wife and threatened to post the video on social media while demanding for N2m to take care of her pregnancy despite the fact she was still living together with her husband.
This caused serious crisis between Reuben and his wife and he was forced to unblock Cynthia’s line. They then started chatting and negotiating. Cynthia insisted that it is either he paid the money to take care of the pregnancy or she will post the video on the social media since Reuben was said to be a respected elder in his church.
When the pressure became unbearable for Reuben, he went to Ojo Police Division and reported his frustration and the Police moved into action. The Police eventually arrested Cynthia and detained her at the station for interrogation over her alleged conduct.
During interrogation, Cynthia told the Police that she met Reuben at Alaba International Market, where she was working and they became lovers. In the course of the relationship, they were going to hotels to have sex, where she made the video recording, which she sent to his wife.

The complainant on his own, admitted that she lured him into the act and when he regained his senses he blocked her and did not want to continue with the relationship.
However, the Police found Cynthia culpable and charged her before the Ojo Magistrate Court for the alleged offence.
She pleaded not guilty when she was arraigned.
The prosecutor, Supol Simeon Uche, then asked the Court to give a date for hearing since she pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that she actually committed the alleged offence.
