President Tinubu’s Sons, Seyi & Yinka Visit Borno, Donate Foods, Drugs To Victims

Two of President Bola Tinubu’s children, Seyi and Yinka Tinubu on Friday paid a condolence visit to those affected by the flood in Maiduguri, Borno State.

The two young men teamed up with the Noella Foundation, and various private sector collaborators to gather substantial humanitarian assistance for the victims of the last week’s catastrophic flood.

The President’s Sons and their entourage also extended their condolences and sympathy to the Governor, Government and people Of Borno State over the monumental natural disaster.

They later donated Food items including rice, spaghetti, and oil; Health supplies including mosquito nets, antimalarials, and various medications; Comfort items such as mattresses, blankets, and mats; and daily use items like wash kits, kettles, and sanitary products.

Strengthening bonds in adversity, Seyi and his younger brother, Yinka visited Borno to also engage with leaders and showing the power of collective action in the face of hardship.

The donation includes: 500 bags of 25kg rice; 1,000 cartons each of spaghetti, tomato paste, and groundnut oil; 200 bags of maize flour; 10,000 loaves of bread; 200 cartons of Maggi; 1,000 bags of salt; 100 cartons of sugar; 5,000 mosquito nets to prevent the spread of malaria; 1,000 mattresses for comfort, and 4,000 blankets for warmth; 4,000 wash kits and buckets, sanitary wares; 4,000 kettles for daily use; 4,000 wrappers and 10,000 mats; 26,000 packs of antimalarial drugs; 3,500 boxes of analgesics; 3,000 boxes of anti-ulcer medications; 35,000 packs of antihypertensive drugs; 50 cartons of anti-diabetic medication; 110 cartons of antidiarrheal drugs; 9,650 boxes of antibiotics and antifungal treatments; 3,500 cartons of anti-parasitic drugs; 1,500 cartons of medical infusions and 4,500 boxes of medical consumables.
