Ojodu LCDA Hosts Budget Stakeholders Meeting
Ojodu LCDA on Thursday held its 2025 Budget Stakeholders Meeting at the Council Secretariat Hall, gathering traditional rulers, community leaders, youths, women groups and other key stakeholders to discuss the LCDA’s budget formulation.
The meeting, led by the Council Chairman, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, was an opportunity to present the administration’s achievements and seek input on future development plans.
Hon. Odunmbaku highlighted strides in healthcare, education, youth and women empowerment with social and infrastructural development as enshrined in his administration’s H.E.Y.S Agenda.
He also emphasized the renovation and expansion of health centers, provision of essential medical supplies and facilities, bursaries, scholarships and upgrades to educational facilities. Youth skill acquisitions and women’s economic empowerment initiatives with food palliative programmes were also spotlighted.
Hon Segun Odunmbaku stressed the importance of community participation in shaping the 2025 budget. He urged stakeholders to contribute their ideas and inputs, ensuring the budget reflects the community’s needs and aspirations. Hon. Odunmbaku reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to building lasting legacies that future administrations can build upon.
The meeting ended with lively discussions and suggestions as stakeholders shared priorities for the budget, ranging from infrastructure to social services. This inclusive approach was seen as a step towards transparent governance and community-driven development in Ojodu LCDA.
