Ezendigbo Gburugburu, Eze Prosper Chukwuka Empowers 1000 Widows In Lagos

It was an emotional moment at FESTAC town in Lagos State on Sunday, 13th October, 2024, at the palace of  the King of Ndieze in Nigeria and Diaspora, Ezendigbo Gburugburu Worldwide,  Eze Prosper Chukwuka, as in an unprecedented gesture he empowered over 1000 widows in the State. 

 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that this happened as he also received an International award as the Ezendigbo Gburugburu of the Chicago in United States of America.

The event, which witnessed the presence of some top Igbo leaders,  friends and wellwishers of Eze Prosper Chukwuka, also included the widows who came from within and outside Lagos to be part of the empowerment.

 

Since Eze Prosper Chukwaka was crowned as Ezendigbo Gburugburu by the Igbo Speaking Community, he has been living up to his responsibilities by touching many lives through empowering the less privileged people in the society despite their ethnic affiliations.

Speaking at the occasion, Eze Chukwuka said he derives satisfaction from seeing smiles on the faces of the less privileged people in the society especially the widows because he knows that they are passing through a lot of difficulties in life.

 

He said that he decided to empower such number of the widows from different ethnic groups as a demonstration of giving back to the society and to show them love.

Eze Chukwuka said apart from giving them cash gifts, he will also teach them how to make money so that they will be self sufficient to take care of their families.

 

He explained that he has been doing so over the years except that this particular empowerment has greater number of widows unlike the previous ones before he became Ezendigbo Gburugburu.

He also stated that giving to the lesss privileged was indicated in the Bible which directed the three sets of people to be assisted in the society namely- widows, prisoners and orphans.

 

Eze Prosper Chukwuka is a renowned successful businessman with several conglomerates and a super philanthropist, who has used his wealth to touch the lives of the less privileged in the society without ethnic considerations.


For his outstanding contributions to humanity,  Eze Chukwuka has received many chieftaincy titles before he became Ezendigbo Gburugburu. Some of the chieftaincy titles included Akubuike, Ego Bu Oga, Ogbuagu, Obata Obie and many others.

Eze Prosper Chukwaka has received several awards both in Nigeria and internationally for his contributions for the development of the society. Recently, Eze Chukwuka was conferred with the prestigious award of Ezendigbo Gburugburu Worldwide by the Igbo Association of Chicago and Elder Council, United States of America. Also Igbo Ndi Oma Africa has also conferred Eze Chukwuka as Ezedigbo Gburugburu, which has demonstrated that Ndigbo recognized him as the King of Ndieze in diaspora.
