Onigbongbo LCDA Gets Hon. Taofeeq Olorunfunmi As New Vice Chairman

Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area, Lagos State, has officially sworn in  Hon Prince Taofeeq Olorunfunmi as its new Vice chairman.

This significant event took place on Wednesday 20th November, 2024, at the Council Secretariat’s new hall marking  the beginning of a new era in leadership  for the council.

The position of Vice Chairman became vacant following the death of the previous Chairman, Hon Dotun Olakanle, which constitutionally ushered in Barr. Rekiyah Hassan as the new Chairman. And in line with the Local Government’s constitution, Hon Taofeeq was appointed by the Apex leaders to fill the vacant position created by Barr. Hassan’s elevation.

Hon Taofeeq brings a wealth of experience to the role having served as the elected Councillor Ward F Olusosun, Deputy/Acting Leader, and Majority Leader of the legislative arm of Onigbongbo LCDA.

The new Vice Chairman, after taking oath of office, pledged to work tirelessly to support the chairman and the Council in delivering quality service to the community.
