Contrary to an error by online sports news platform, www.footballnigeria.com.ng, stating that rising football talent, Raheem Moyinoluwa Salaudeen, played National League in 2013, his club, Buruj Football Club, has clearly stated that the youngster actually played in the aforementioned league in 2023.

In a statement signed by the CEO, Salaudeen Waheed Buruj, the club said that their player, Raheem, could not have played in the National League in 2013 when he was born in 2010.

“Our attention has been drawn to a news story published by www.footballnigeria.com.ng, which erroneously stated that our player, Raheem Moyinoluwa Salaudeen, played in the National League in 2013 when he was only 3 years old.”

“For the records, Raheem Moyinoluwa Salaudeen, who is also my son, was born on 13th May, 2010. He attended Goshen International School before he joined Buruj Football Academy” the club stated.

Raheem Moyinoluwa Salaudeen, a rising star in Nigerian youth football, currently plays as an attacking/defensive midfielder for Buruj Football Academy before he was selected for the final phase of the Talent Development Scheme in FCT, Abuja.
