Posted on December 10, 2024

As the saying goes: “One good turn deserves another”. By this mantra, definitely Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku has lived up to that radiant statements and by that deserves once again another “GOOD TURN” in Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State.

Having meritoriously accomplished several turns in exceptional governance, DOS has diligently turned so many things around in quite exceptional ways for good with his four primary cardinal points agenda.

His strides in Health, Education, Youth Empowerment and Sports and in addition to his landmark achievements in infrastructural developments including Roads Construction, Poverty Alleviation, social infrastructure developments and robust community engagement, empowerment, just to mention a few, stand him out as an excellent manager of human and material resources.

DOS is a passionate and compassionate leader, who is blessed with a caring heart for the support of the weak and vulnerable in the society. In addition, his benevolent heart can be felt directly and even indirectly because it has no barrier nor limitation.

His developmental ingenuity is still very much in progress especially considering many projects that are in progress presently as a diligent and workaholic Mayor of Ojodu LCDA. For his dint of hard work and sterling antecedents, the energetic DOS DESERVES ONE MORE TERM.

This is not an opinion, never meant to be an amplified exaggeration or action of hype but from available record of excellent performance in governance. He has so far taken his mission through a progressive ideology having commissioned uncountable projects to delight of the members of Ojodu LCDA and beyond.

Presently, if the review agenda of Lagos State House Assembly is eventually followed up to the latter, it will not be a thing of surprise if DOS is meritoriously elevated to Ikeja Local Government as the Executive Chairman in the fast approaching 2025 Local Government election, especially with Ikeja being the capital city of Lagos and constitutionally recognized Local Government as entrenched in 1999 Constitution as amended.

DOS is tenacious and possess the capacity to handle, oversee, manage and control the two sister LCDAs (Ojodu and Onigbongbo) that made up IKEJA LGA.

From his credible and iconic profile, we know that David Olusegun Odunmbaku was once a Secretary (SLG) to two Local Council both Ikeja LGA and Ojodu LCDA respectively, and by that attainment, his track record speaks volume of his humongous experience as he remains the best among his peers: The best man for the job, through the exceptional record of performance that captured how well he has done, and by those assessments, we must all agree in unison that he deserves to be upgraded, uplifted, and elevated to the Premier league of “IKEJA” Local Government Area, if given the chance, because his vast experience will definitely count.
