Petroleum Technology Association Of Nigeria Honours Rt. Hon. Asita Honourable With Award

Former Chairman of the Governing Board of NIMASA and two-term member of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Asita Honourable, on 13th December, 2024, graced the 30th anniversary celebration/Awards Night of Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN).

The former Federal lawmaker and pioneer Chairman of the House Committee on Local Content was honoured with a Leadership Award for his outstanding role in the fight for the enactment of the Nigerian Local Content Bill.

The grandiose event, which held at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos State, had in attendance notable Nigerians and critical industry stakeholders including President Bola Tinubu, ably represented by the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Rt. Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo, Lagos State Governor, HE Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri amongst others.
