ONC Congratulates HRM Eze Noble Friday Uwoh & HRH Eze Prince Ike Ehie on Receiving Their Staff Of Office

Apex Niger Delta socio-cultural group, Orashi National, ONC, has congratulated HRM Eze Noble Friday Uwoh (CSP, Rtd), Eze Igbu-Ehupla (Ahoada) IV, Ahoada Kingdom, and HRH Eze Prince Ike Ehie Eze Igbu Orlukor 11, on receiving their staff of office.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the grand ceremony took place at the Rivers State Government House, Port Harcourt.
The ceremony, attended by dignitaries, traditional rulers, and members of the public, marked a significant milestone in the history of Ahoada Kingdom and the broader Orashi Region. It was a day of pride and celebration for the people, signifying the government’s commitment to strengthening traditional institutions across the state.
In a congratulatory statement, the President General of the Orashi National Congress (ONC), Amb. Comrade Emeni Ibe (JP, AP), commended the newly recognized traditional rulers for their dedication and commitment to the development and unity of their communities.
He said, “On behalf of the good people of the Orashi Region, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to HRM Eze Noble Friday Uwoh and HRH Eze Prince Ike Ehie on this well-deserved recognition. Your unwavering commitment to the peace, unity, and progress of your people has been rewarded at God’s appointed time”.

“Once again, congratulations to you, and to all other recognized traditional rulers, who received their letters and staffs of office. We wish to use this medium to appeal for more recognition of over due traditional rulers and kings both from Orashi Region and within the State. We plead with the Rivers State Government to do general bonanza for traditional rulers and kings in the State.”

Amb. Comrade Emeni Ibe expressed confidence in the ability of the newly elevated leaders to foster development and peace in their respective domains. He also lauded the Rivers State Government for its continued support of traditional institutions and its role in promoting cultural heritage across the state.
The ONC President General further used the occasion to advocate for the recognition of more overdue traditional rulers, particularly within the Orashi Region and other parts of Rivers State.
As the newly recognized monarchs assume their roles, the people of Ahoada Kingdom and the Orashi Region look forward to a reign of peace, prosperity, and sustained development. The event is a testament to the enduring importance of traditional leadership in fostering communal harmony and preserving cultural identity.
