A group, known as the Concerned Amaechi Friends, said that their attention has been drawn to the unfounded and malicious accusations made by Mr. Chibuike Ikenga, alleging that Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi is collaborating with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to destabilize President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
The group said, “We, the Concerned Amaechi Friends, categorically reject these baseless claims, which are a clear attempt to tarnish the reputation of a man whose dedication to nation-building and loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) remains unwavering”.
“His Excellency, Rt. Hon.Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, CON, has consistently demonstrated his commitment to the ideals and principles of the APC, both in his capacity as a former Governor of Rivers State and former Minister of Transportation and as a key figure in the party’s success. His contributions to the development of Rivers State and Nigeria at large speak volumes of his character and integrity.”
“The allegations by Mr. Ikenga are not only false but also politically motivated. They are intended to sow discord within the APC and distract from the pressing issues of governance. We challenge Mr. Ikenga to provide credible evidence to substantiate his claims, failing which his statements should be dismissed as mere propaganda.”
“Rt. Hon. Amaechi remains focused on promoting unity, good governance, and the advancement of the APC’s vision for Nigeria. We urge party members and the general public to disregard these unfounded allegations and remain steadfast in their support for the leadership of the APC.”
