Armed Forces Remembrance Day: Eze Aro Honours Nigeria’s Brave Heroes

The Eze Aro of Arochukwu Kingdom, His Eminence Dr Eberechukwu Oji, has joined the Federal and State Government to mark the Armed Forces Remembrance Day. 

 

In a statement marking the day, the Eze Aro said, “Today, we honour the brave men and women of the Nigerian Armed Forces who have made the ultimate sacrifice to keep our nation safe. Their selflessness, courage, and dedication to our country are truly commendable”.

 

“As we remember their sacrifices, we also acknowledge the invaluable contributions of our veterans and serving personnel who continue to defend our nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. We recognize the importance of preserving the legacies of our fallen heroes and their sacrifices for Nigeria’s territorial integrity.”

 

“We call for improvement in the welfare of our veterans and serving personnel, as well as training initiatives that foster better civil relationships. It is our hope that their bravery and patriotism will inspire us all to work towards a more united and prosperous Nigeria.”

“May God bless and protect our Armed Forces, and may He grant eternal rest to the souls of our fallen heroes!”
