ONC Commends NDDC Boss, Dr Ogbuku & Calls For Needed Attention

Apex Niger Delta socio-cultural group, Orashi National Congress, ONC, has commended the Chief Dr Samuel Ogbuku led Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, while calling his attention to the plight of youths in the Orashi region.
The ONC, speaking through their President General, Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe, commended the good initiatives and projects embarked upon by Chief Dr. Samuel Ogbuku since he assumed leadership of the Commission. He also highlighted the neglect of the youths of the Orashi region in the empowernment drives and job creation opportunities of the Commission not minding their continued support.
Amb. Comrade Emeni Ibe, in the statement on behalf of the Orashi National Congress said, “We wish to use this medium to commend the NDDC Boss, Chief Dr Samuel Ogbuku, for the great work he has been doing since assumption of office. Aside the numerous projects across the Niger Delta region, Dr Ogbuku organised the first summit, which brought together all critical stakeholders and charted the way forward”.
“Indeed, Dr Ogbuku deserves commendation and support of all stakeholders to take Niger Delta region to enviable heights.”
“At the ONC, as we pledge our unalloyed and continued support, we call the attention of the performing NDDC Boss to the youths in the Orashi region.
As a sociocultural organization comprising Abua/Odual, Ahoada East Ahoada West and Ogba Egbema Ndoni L.G.As of Rivers State, over the years we have remained committed to the campaign against pipeline vandalism. We have equally led several campaigns against illegal refinery and kpo fire.”
“Our advocacy campaigns against cultism have not gone unnoticed in the region. We have not reneged on our mandate of promotion of peace and security. We also have synergy with traditional rulers and security agencies all geared towards peace, security and development of the region.”
“We therefore, once again appeal to Chief Dr Samuel Ogbuku to please use his good office to support us by partnering with us to achieve set objectives and by empowering teeming youths in the Orashi region through the different noble initiatives of the Commission.”
“We pray that the Almighty God will continue to guide, strengthen and protect him and all at the NDDC as we look forward to getting the needed attention.”
