The National Coordinator of Ndigbo Media Forum, Rev. Paul Eze, has commended the activities of the new Anambra security outfit set by Governor Chukwuma Soludo and described the outcome so far as returning to the pristine values of the State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Eze stated this in Lagos in a press release on the evaluation of the Anambra State security outfit code name Agunechemba and Udo Ga-Achi, which was set up by Governor Soludo.
The group stated that within a short period of time, the security outfit has unraveled a lot of evil activities that has been going on in the State for many years.
“The formation of the security outfit will not only restore peace and order in the state but also mark a return to our pristine values, where achievements are valued base on hard work and resilience, where good name and track records matter most.”
However, the group further advised Gov Soludo to keep a close watch on the activities of security group to avoid infiltration, vandetta or abuse of powers by the personnel.
The group also called on the good people of Anambra State to be steadfast and honest in their support for Soludo for his second term in order to consolidate on the gains of democracy.
“In every government, the second term plays an important role. It is a season to consolidate or make permanent the already made achievements and then set off new projects. A player can be changed for another only when the player is not doing well during football matches and since Governor Soludo is doing well, we should all give him maximum support for a second tenure” Eze posited.
According to him, Gov.Soludo deserves not just a second term but a Nobel prize considering the humongous and uncommon achievements within a short time and with little resources available to the State.
