Hon. Amb. Chijioke Ihunwo Inaugurates Rumuagholu Community Development Committee

In a significant move to ensure that the people of Rumuagholu Community live harmoniously, the result -oriented Executive Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Council, Hon. Amb. Chijioke Ihunwo, on Thursday, 13th February, 2025, inaugurated the Rumuagholu Community Development Committee (CDC).
This strategic committee, it was gathered, holds a crucial role in fostering unity and progress within the community.
Inaugurating the committee at the Executive Chamber of Obio/Akpor council Secretariat, Amb. Ihunwo  charged the committee to ensure there is peace in the community and work out modalities for an election within three months. This directive emphasizes the importance of maintaining a peaceful environment for all residents.
The Rumuagholu Community Development Committee (CDC) is tasked with not only promoting peace but also with enhancing the overall development of the community. For instance, they may focus on improving infrastructure, organizing community events, and addressing any issues that may arise among residents. By setting a timeline of three months for an election, the committee is expected to work efficiently and effectively towards this goal.
