IWD: There’s Still Much To Be Done On Gender Equality & Empowerment Of Women – Says Hon. Princess Dr Olabanji-Oba

The Executive Vice Chairman of Ikorodu LGA, Lagos State, who doubles as the National Chairman, Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria (ALGOVC), Aare’birin Hon. Princess (Dr) Folashade Olabanji-Oba, has reiterated that there is still so much to do on gender equality and the empowerment of women especially in Nigeria.
The Global Director General of Asiwaju Distinguished Ambassadors Movement, who is an Executive Chairman Hopeful, in her message marking the International Women’s Day said, “Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and determination of women all around the world. As we commemorate this special day, I, Folashade Florence Grace Olabanji-Oba, APC Executive Chairman Hopeful of Ikorodu Local Government, salute our women and girls in Ikorodu and beyond”.
“I acknowledge the progress made towards gender equality, and also recognize that there is still much work to be done. As a woman in politics globally, I am committed to championing the cause of women’s empowerment and inclusivity in our communities.”
