How CP Tactical Squad Led By CSP Mohammed Busted 3 Suspected Human Traffickers & Rescued 2 Victims

The Lagos Commissioner of Police Tactical Squad led by CSP Baba Ahmed Mohammed has busted three suspected members of human trafficking syndicate and rescued two victims on their way to Kano State enroute Libya.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the Eagle Eye Tactical Squad at Second Rainbow unit, CSP Mohammed swung into action and arrested the suspects namely Yakubu Akintayo, Musliyat Balogun and Kubirat Moruf at Bankori Park, Mile 12 area of Lagos, following a credible information to the Squad who moved into action.
They were billed to move with the victims from the park to Kano State and finally to Libya before the Squad got credible information and busted them. The suspects, who are currently detained while undergoing interrogation, have already confessed to the crime.
According to Police sources, the complainant Rokib Mosafejo (F) called the Tactical Squad commander, Baba Mohammed, who directed the leader of the team, ASP Samson Ahmodu and they swung into action and arrested the three suspects with intention to take them to Libya and as well rescued the two victims.
According to Police sources, the traffickers have also narrated their modus operandum of human trafficking, which according to them had made them to be rich. The suspects confessed that their victims are usually females between the age of 12years & 19years depending on negotiation. And they are usually used for prostitution in Libya. They also mentioned one of their members as Iya Ondo a.k.a Ologe, who is now at large.
The complainant told the Police operatives that his sister was among the victims of the human trafficking and she informed the Police in order to rescue the victims and as well arrest members of the syndicate.
When our correspondent went to speak with the Commander, CSP Baba Mohammed, at the Second Rainbow area close to Mile 2, he was said to have gone out for routine monitoring.
However, Police sources confirmed the incident and said that the matter has been transferred to the Gender Department of the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Police Command, Ikeja, for further investigation.
