The Chairman of all Chairmen of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State, Nze Edwin Egboka (Eze Eziokwu), has declared that Chief Solomon Aguene is the authentic president of Ohanaeze in the State and warned members of the public to note that any other group claiming leadership of Ohanaeze in the State are imposters.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Eze Eziokwu, who is also the Chairman of Ohanaeze in Oriade LCDA, stated this on the heels of letters being circulated on the social media signed by Chief Sunday Ossai and Mr. Robert Obasi claiming leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Lagos State.
He explained that the Lagos State High Court confirmed and declared Chief Solomon Aguene as the president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State. He said that the judgement subsists and has not been vacated by any individual or group.
Nze Edwin Egboka explained that Ohanaeze will begin to streamline and stabilize their members by conducting election in the LGA/ LCDA and ensure that Ohanaeze Ndigbo has democratically elected leadership in the various LGA/LCDAs.
He warned those giving and issuing fake certificates in the LG/CDA to collect their money back because the structure being put in place by Chief Aguene’s leadership with the support of Chairmen of LG/CDA will not condone such conduct because Ohanaeze certificates are not for sale to the highest bidders.
Egboka also hinted that Ohanaeze will soon begin empowerment of the members in various LGA/LCDAs because one of the objectives of Ohanaeze Ndigbo is the welfare of the members and indeed Ndigbo in General.
He urged members to continue to support Chief Aguene’s administration because he has capacity and has demonstrated over the years that he has the interest of Ndigbo at heart and will continue to serve Ndigbo.
Egboka urged the members of public to disregard what Chief Ossai and Robert Obasi were circulating on the social media claiming the leadership of Ohanaeze but as well admitted that there is valid Court judgment that declared Aguene president.
What Chief Ossai and Robert Obasi failed to tell the members of the public if the Constitution of Ohanaeze Ndigbo is superior to the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He advised Ossai and Obasi including other members of his group to desist from deceiving Ndigbo in Lagos State because they know Chief Solomon Aguene as their leader that had impacted their lives in the State.
