Soludo has once again proven his passion to uniting Anambra communities with the flag-off of the 10.8km Nkwo Nnewi to Nkwo Oraifite Road and 5.8km Oraifite Civic Center-Afiauzo-Akwukwu-Owerri-Onitsha Road. This critical project, long-awaited by residents and business owners, promises to connect the bustling commercial hubs, boost economic activity, and improve the quality of life for thousands of people.

The ceremony, held at Oraifite Civic Center, was a vibrant celebration of hope and progress. Traders, community leaders, and residents gathered to witness the historic moment, their faces lit with joy. For many, these roads are more than just a stone base and asphalt—they are a lifeline to opportunity and growth.

The Road to Prosperity:

The 10.8km and 5.8km roads will feature:
– Modern Drainage Systems: Preventing flooding and erosion, which have long plagued the area.
– Solar-Powered Streetlights: Enhancing safety and enabling round-the-clock economic activity.
– Soludo’s five stages of road construction include cement stabilization, blinding, stone base, and asphalting.

This road is not just about connecting the towns. It is about connecting people to opportunities, businesses to markets, and uniting Anambra communities to achieving a smart mega city.

A Community’s Joy:

For Mr. Emeka Okonkwo, a trader at Nkwo Market, the road represents a long-awaited dream. “For years, we’ve struggled with bad roads and flooding. This project will make it easier for customers to reach us and for us to transport our goods. It is a game-changer,” he said with a smile.

Mrs. Nkechi Eze, a resident of Oraifite, echoed his sentiments. “This road will bring development to our community. We are grateful to Soludo.”

A Promise Kept:

Soludo’s administration has made infrastructure development a cornerstone of its agenda. This project is part of a broader vision to build a network of quality roads that connect every part of Anambra, ensuring that no community is left behind.

Soludo is building roads that will stand the test of time. This is not just about today; it is about securing a better tomorrow for our Dubai-Taiwan Silicon Valley dream.

Paving the Way Forward:

The flag-off of these roads is more than a construction project—it is a symbol of hope, progress, and uniting Anambra people. As the bulldozers roll in and the people see the roads being constructed, the people of Nnewi and Oraifite can look forward to a future filled with promise.

Under Soludo’s leadership, Anambra is not just building roads; it is uniting the people.
