Omotoso Calls For Adoption Of Artificial Intelligence As Tool To Enhance Journalism Practice

The Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, has called on media leaders to embrace artificial intelligence as a powerful tool to enhance the efficiency  and broaden the impact of journalism in Nigeria.

 

Mr. Omotoso, represented by the  Director, Strategy Centre of the Ministry, Mr. Kayode Oyekanmi, made the statement in his goodwill remarks on Monday, delivered at the gathering of media leaders from different parts of Nigeria who converged at the Academy Suites and Hotel, Abeokuta Ogun State, venue of the 2025 Media Leaders Summit.
The 2-day summit with the theme,  Market Squared: “Turning Connections into Gold in The AI Age”, was organised by Mr Taiwo Obe, convener of the Journalism Clinic, which had in attendance, members of the guild of editors and media veterans from  print, electronic, and online media platforms.
