Man, 28, Docked For Fondling Breasts & Impregnating Girl, 16

A 28-year old man, Adeola Ayadi, has landed in trouble in Lagos State for allegedly sexually assaulting a 16-year old girl by fondling her breasts and Impregnating her after repeated penetrations.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Ame Road, Alinoye Estate, Ikotun area of Lagos.

According to the Police, the suspect had between April to November 2024, lured the victim into his apartment, sexually assaulted her severally and eventually got her pregnant. The matter got exposed after she was taken to hospital, a test was conducted, the result was positive and she mentioned the suspect as being responsible.

The matter was reported to the Police at Ikotun Division. The suspect was arrested and detained at the station for interrogation over his alleged conduct.

He was found culpable after rounds of interrogation and consequently charged with the Ogba Magistrate Court for the alleged offence, which attracts several years of imprisonment.

The charge read:

“That you, Adeola Ayadi ‘m’ Of No. 38, Ame Road, Alinoye Estate, Ikotun, Lagos State at about 1630hrs, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did sexually assault one 16-year old victim, F, by penetrating her vagina with your manhood and got her pregnant, thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 261, of the Lagos State Criminal Law, 2015.”

The Court did not take his plea following a motion moved by the prosecutor, Inspector Lucky Ihiehie, asking the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for legal advice.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. M.O.Tanimola, ordered his remand in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP for legal advice.

The matter was adjourned for mention for the report of the DPP’s advice to be available, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
