Hon. Segun Odunmbaku Electrifies Ojodu APC LGA General Meeting With Inspirational Address

The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA and APC flagbearer for the upcoming Local Government elections, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku (DOS), delivered a rousing and motivational address at the APC LGA General Meeting held at the Yidi Praying Ground today as part of ongoing strategic consultations aimed at mobilizing grassroots support and galvanizing massive votes for the party’s victory.

The well-attended gathering drew together party stalwarts, traditional rulers, religious leaders, youth groups ethnic communities and key stakeholders across Ojodu LCDA.

Highlight of the event was the public endorsement of the APC and its candidates including Hon. Segun Odunmbaku and running mate, Alhaja Kafaya Layeni, with the Six Councillorship candidates by influential groups such as the Ojodu Market Men and Women Association, Artisans and Farmers Associations with and leaders of various ethnic communities including Ndigbo, Arewa and North Central Indigenes.

In his address, Hon. Odunmbaku expressed profound appreciation to the party leadership, traditional and religious leaders, professional groups with youths and community stakeholders, describing their continued support as a reaffirmation of his performance-driven leadership. He emphasized that the forthcoming elections represent a referendum on the progress and transformation recorded under his administration, driven by the HEYS Development Agenda.

 

He also reiterated his commitment to consolidating on gains achieved in his first term by pledging to deepen infrastructural development, social welfare, youth empowerment and inclusive governance for more impact in his second term through the HEYSRELOADED Agenda.

A touching moment occurred when a resident, Mrs. Agu, shared an emotional testimony about how the Ojodu (See A Doctor) Free Surgery Initiative saved her friend’s life through a successful fibroid operation, leading her to join the APC in gratitude.

 

The meeting attended by LGA Chair, Alhaja Stella Kokumo and party chieftains, DOS/KFL Campaign DG, Barr Olawale Ajala and his team, party stakeholders, artisans, market men and women and youths ended on a high note, with chants of support from enthusiastic residents and party faithfuls, further energizing the momentum behind the DOS/KFL 2025 campaign.
