After a series of wars against human trafficking, the Nigerian in Diaspora Organisation,NIDO Africa has moved a step forward, as it sets out to export Nigerian goods to other African countries.
To this end, the Professor Jude Osakwe-led organisation will on Tuesday, July 22 hold a Made-In-Nigeria export promotion interactive session at the Banquet Hall of Rembrandt Hotel, Obafemi Awolowo Way, Ikeja, Lagos State by 11am.
Speaking about the interactive session, the Continental Chairman, NIDO Africa, Professor Osakwe said that the purpose of the programme is to export Nigerian products to other African countries “by so doing we are creating a marketing structure side by side an enabling environment for farmers to export their farm produce and manufacturing products to other African countries”.
Osakwe added that the interactive seminar is the second edition and this time around “it’s not about interaction alone but implementation and we have invited government agencies, Officials of the Ministry of foreign Affairs, Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, industry and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAAN), Nigeria Export Promotions Council amongst others“.
He added that NIDO Africa is not about waging war against human trafficking alone “because the charter that created NIDO Africa gave us the avenue to attract investment within and outside African countries ‘.
The NIDO Africa leader said that after the interactive seminar, business will commence immediately and our first point of contact is Senegal.
