MediaRoomHub Retracts Story, Apologises to Jideofor, Oladapo Over Inaccurate Publication

MediaRoomHub, an online media platform, has issued a formal retraction and public apology to Messrs Ikenna Jideofor and Adewale Oladapo, also known as “Biggie,” over a published story containing unfounded and inaccurate claims.

In a statement signed by its Publisher and Editor, Ms. Azuka Ogujioba, the platform said a thorough review revealed the allegations were not supported by verified facts.

“We acknowledge that these statements were misleading and have caused unjustified reputational damage to the individuals concerned,” the statement read.

The platform confirmed that the story had been withdrawn in its entirety and expressed regret for the distress, embarrassment, and harm caused to the personal and professional standing of both men.

“This statement serves as both an unequivocal retraction and a public apology to the parties concerned,” Ms. Ogujiuba added.

The statement, titled “Retraction and Apology”, read in part: “We, Mediaroomhub, hereby issue this formal retraction of a story previously published by our platform concerning Messrs Ikenna Jideofor and Mr. Adewale Oladapo a.k.a. Biggie.

Upon thorough review, we have determined that the said publication contained unfounded and inaccurate claims which were not supported by verified facts.

We acknowledge that these statements were misleading and have caused unjustified reputational damage to the individuals concerned.

We unreservedly withdraw the said story in its entirety, and we tender our sincere and public apology to Messrs Ikenna Jideofor and Adewale Oladapo for any distress, embarrassment, or harm caused to their personal and professional standing as a result of the publication.

This statement serves as both an unequivocal retraction and a public apology to the parties concerned.”
